Further Information.
- Always do a demo area on some spare stone or on an inconspicuous area first, so that you know how the sealer works.
- Your stone must be clean and dry before you seal it. If you have any queries regarding cleaning cast stone please click here or see the article, below.
- Wear latex or washing up gloves to keep the product off your hands.
- Apply the product to the clean, dry stone on a dry day when you are confident it will not rain for at least 12 hours (preferably 24).
- Use a sponge, cloth or brush to apply enough product to keep the surface of the stone wet for 10 to 15 minutes. This allows time for enough product to soak into the surface of the stone.
- Eg. If the product soaks in and the surface begins to dry in less than 10 to 15 minutes, simply apply a little extra product to re-wet the surface.
- The more sealer you can get to soak in, the better sealed it will be.
- There is no need to "brush the product in" but you can move it around on the surface of the stone every few minutes during the time it is soaking in.
- If you have puddles on the surface after 20 to 30 minutes, re-distribute the excess product or remove them with a cloth.
- There is no need to "towel dry" the stone, just to remove excess liquid or puddles.
- Leave to cure for 12 to 24 hours

Some questions you may have:
Why seal?
We have over twenty years experience assisting customers to Clean, Seal and Maintain their stone.
Providing you use the correct products to seal your stone it will remain in good condition and be much more resistant to staining and algae.
Sealed stone requires far less maintenance than unsealed stone.
The products we supply are high performance and relatively easy to use.
What are Impregnating Sealers?
We only supply breathable, impregnating sealers that are designed specifically for natural stone. These products soak into the surface of the stone and do not give any kind of surface coating, sheen or shine whatsoever.
Please note: products that do not breathe (do not allow moisture to escape) or leave a surface coating on the stone or make the surface at all "shiny" or are not designed specifically for natural stone are not fit for the purpose of sealing your stone.
